"The Champions League title was stolen due to a refereeing error" ... a statement made by veteran Italian coach Marcello Lippi about the final match of the 1998 continental mother competition, in which time Real Madrid beat Juventus with a clean goal.

In an interview with Spanish radio "Cadena Ser", Libby explained that "the goal that Predrag Mijatovic scored should not have been counted because it came from a state of infiltration."

Al-Yuvi, who was coaching Libby, lost in the final of the 1998 edition with the goal of the player from Montenegro who scored in the 66th minute of the match that took place at the Amsterdam Arena (currently Johan Cruyff Arena).

The high-ranking coach - who led Italy to crown the 2006 World Cup and Juventus to crown the Italian league five times and the European champions in 1996 - pointed out that the French Zinedine Zidane is the best player he coached in his career.

"I had distinguished players in the clubs that I coached, but Zidane is the best and strongest, a naturally gifted player with an intelligent and unique gameplay."
