According to the Paris fire brigade (BSPP), the fire broke out in a set of buildings comprising hundreds of homes and shops.

One minor casualty

On site, the speakers noted the presence of two fireplaces in the first basement with an area of 5000 m2. Nine cars were destroyed by fire. “Getting through an underground car park is always difficult. There is an oven effect. It goes up quickly in a parking lot, ”explained the Parisian spokesperson for the BSPP.

Three lances and a complex smoke extraction maneuver were required to extinguish the incident. Finally, the fire fortunately left only one casualty, taken care of by the emergency services.
