“Yesterday, May 20, in the Luhansk region, the battalion commander Sergey Gubanov was killed,” the message said.
They noted that during the execution of the mission Gubanov “and three soldiers of the battalion” received shrapnel wounds, the soldiers receive medical assistance.
“Everything happened yesterday, May 20, at about 21:30 in the area of the village of Trekhizbenka, Novoaydarsky district,” the department added.
