He expressed confidence that the pandemic will create opportunities for the production of new drugs and scientific developments in this area, since all countries are now working on it.
“We also work, we have about 15 platforms specially created for these purposes that deal with drugs, and about 50 drugs are currently under development,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova previously said that in Russia five drugs for the treatment of coronavirus are undergoing clinical trials.
