The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai revealed yesterday that the volume of support provided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to the owners of taxi plates for citizens in the emirate over the past ten years, exceeded a billion and a half billion Dirhams, in the form of annual bonuses, which His Highness orders to distribute to them on various occasions.
The Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, emphasized that the rewards that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum used to direct to distribute to citizens of taxi license plates reflect the extent of His Highness’s follow-up to all sectors and societal segments, and his keenness to provide citizens with all the ingredients that It enables them to meet the requirements of their families in a way that guarantees them happiness and psychological stability, and encourages them to give more to the higher end of the country.
Al Tayer offered his highest thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for the honor that His Highness ordered to distribute 51 million dirhams to the owners of taxi plates, which are operated by Dubai Taxi Corporation and franchise companies, in these blessed days before the advent of the Eid. He pointed out that His Highness does not miss an occasion except in which he emphasizes the well-being, happiness and safety of all citizens, and this is evident in everything that His Highness provides to citizens, whether in the form of promotional bonuses or procedural facilities or services specifically designed to achieve the highest levels of citizen satisfaction, especially the field of transport and communications , Which His Highness pays much of his attention.
The number of license plates for taxis that will include their owners presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is 3052, as the Roads and Transport Authority has indicated that it will start handing over the rewards due for the year 2019 in conjunction with Eid Al-Fitr, in addition to the amounts due to them annually.
