Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the possibility of starting the first stage of easing the restrictions introduced due to coronavirus and continuing the gradual “discovery” of the urban economy. As Sobyanin emphasized, this is due to a decrease in the number of detected cases of COVID-19.

In his blog, the mayor spoke about the signing of the decree, which introduced the first stage of mitigation. According to him, for the first time since the beginning of the epidemic of coronavirus infection, not only additional worries appear, but also good news.

“There was hope for an approaching end to the pandemic, and I really do not want it to be replaced by disappointment. To this end, we must continue to maintain maximum responsibility for compliance with established restrictions and requirements. And I’m sure, then we will have the opportunity to take the next steps towards a normal life, ”Sobyanin stated.

So, from May 25, 88 multifunctional centers for the provision of public services located in densely populated areas will resume work, their visit will be possible only by appointment. Citizens will be able to get about 150 different services.

“The receipt of public services will be organized in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety standards. Employees of public service centers and visitors are required to use respiratory protection equipment (masks, respirators) and gloves. The temperature will be measured at the inlet in a non-contact way, ”Sobyanin said.

In addition, car-sharing services will resume work on Monday, however, it will be possible to rent a car for at least 5 days.

The mayor recalled that it is mandatory to wear masks and gloves when traveling by rail.

Note that from May 12 in the capital, it became mandatory to wear masks and gloves at work, in shopping facilities, as well as in public transport and taxis. The fine for violating the mask regime will amount to 5 thousand rubles.

Meanwhile, Sobyanin pointed out that the full return of workers to offices is premature, so the maximum number of employees working “remotely” should be. Moreover, from May 27, movement around the city will be possible only with the use of Moscow digital passes.

Recall that in Moscow until May 31 there are restrictive measures introduced due to the spread of coronavirus infection. However, from May 12, industrial and construction enterprises resumed work.

According to the latest data, in Moscow for the second day the number of patients who recovered (3746) exceeds the number of patients who revealed new cases of coronavirus infection (2913). Moreover, more than 80% of new cases were detected in people under 65 years of age.

We add that in total in the capital of Russia the number of registered cases of COVID-19 reached 155,219, 40,682 people recovered, 1,794 patients died.

“In Moscow, the situation is quite positive”

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin, in an interview with Rossiya 24, expressed the view that the current situation with the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Moscow is positive.

“In Moscow, the situation with coronavirus is currently quite positive, we see that with 50 thousand PCR tests per day, detection is somewhere around 2.5-3 thousand. This is a lot, but the level of a month ago - we identified about 6 thousand at the peak. That is, detectability has fallen by half, ”Sobyanin emphasized.

According to him, this is a serious marker. He also recalled that in Moscow there is a huge program of CT tests for pneumonia. Every week there are fewer patients with pneumonia, the dynamics are also positive.

“In our hospitals, seriously ill patients are getting less and less. Moreover, the number of people written out today is almost twice as many as those who were admitted to the hospital. This is a wonderful indicator, ”the mayor added.

In addition, Sobyanin indicated that the workload of medical facilities began to decline - in “combat mode” there are 24 thousand beds, of which about 16 thousand are occupied by patients with coronavirus.

In addition, on May 22, the results of the first stage of the population screening program for immunity to COVID-19 should be summed up. At the same time, from May 27, it is planned to launch testing for antibodies to coronavirus by appointment for all Muscovites.

Sobyanin also noted that only teenagers and persons over 18 years old will be invited to take tests for antibodies to COVID-19.

“We refrained from inviting young children to polyclinics. Anyway, this is a certain share of risk, a lot of people, and leading a child, taking blood from a vein is not the easiest procedure, ”he explained.

Economics and institutions for children

The capital mayor also expressed confidence that the city’s economy will be able to quickly recover the losses caused by the restrictions caused by the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.

“I’m sure that after some time all this will be restored. On the contrary, the economy will catch up. I am sure that in Moscow we will quite dynamically overcome all these problems, along with the end of restrictions on work and services. Moscow will quickly overcome the lag that has arisen during this time, ”Sobyanin stated.

He also said that the regime of so-called special duty groups of up to 12 people will continue to operate in kindergartens. At the same time, he recalled that a similar structure worked in past years in the summer.

“If, say, a week ago we had about 2.5 thousand children in such groups, now it’s 4.5 thousand. In principle, there are no strict restrictions. You just need to phone the kindergarten in advance, to warn that you will leave the child. Kindergartens work. I think that they will work in the same mode all summer, ”the mayor explained.

At the same time, the mayor of Moscow, speaking of the new school year, expressed hope that he would begin on schedule, that is, September 1.
