As a result of the ongoing corona pandemic, Finnskoga MK was forced to make the decision to move the World Cup competitions in rallycross from the beginning of July to the end of August. Now, "The Magic Weekend" in Höljes also risks becoming an audience-free event once it gets underway. - We try to find opportunities to conduct the competitions without the audience having to come here and instead they can follow the competitions via television, says Morgan Östlund, chairman of Finnskoga MK.
The large rally cross party in Höljes has attracted around 50,000 visitors in recent years. A large part of them come from Norway, and it is Norway's coronary-related travel restrictions that mean that Finnskoga MK is now preparing for World Cup competitions without an audience.
How the motor club relates to the situation, Finnskoga MK's chairman explains in the clip above.
