“As of May 20, 1,548 military personnel with positive test results have been installed in the military command and control bodies, associations, formations, and military units,” the TASS agency quotes the message.
According to the ministry, COVID-19 was also detected in 12 pupils of pre-university educational institutions, 940 cases of infection were registered at universities of the Ministry of Defense, and 393 cases were among civilian personnel.
It is specified that 1019 military personnel, 1311 cadets, 296 pupils of pre-university educational institutions, as well as 158 civilian personnel have already recovered.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that over 6.7 thousand beds have been trained in the country's military hospitals for patients with coronavirus infection COVID-19.
