The first wave has passed, but the Covid-19 remains active. The Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, announced on Sunday the presence of 25 active outbreaks of contamination in France, including two in Hauts-de-France. According to La Voix du Nord , these are in fact former homes identified in the Nord and Pas-de-Calais.
A factory and a gendarmerie
For the North, it is the Royal Canin factory, located in Rues-des-Vignes, near Cambrai where, in April, 14 cases were found positive out of 217 workers tested. In Pas-de-Calais, the regional daily newspaper found the identity of the place: a brigade of the national gendarmerie, the location of which remains secret from the authorities.
On the other hand, a new epidemic outbreak (also called “cluster”) has been followed by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) for a few days, reports Le Parisien . A first case of Covid-19 was detected on May 7 at the Coallia home, a structure housing immigrant workers, in Compiègne, in the Oise department. More than 170 people were then tested on Saturday. The results showed that twelve people had contracted the coronavirus.
