  From this new map, Nepal has included the three regions of Kalapani, Lipu Lekh and Limpiyadhura in the west. These three areas have been the focus of territorial disputes between Nepal and India in recent times.

  In November 2019, the Indian Ministry of the Interior released a map that included Nepal, Karapani and others. This picture caused protests from the Nigerian government and people from all walks of life. At that time, Nepali Prime Minister Oli convened a meeting of leaders of various parties and demanded that the territorial dispute be resolved through diplomatic channels.
