It was at 19 o'clock on Wednesday evening that SOS Alarm reported on the grass fire between Ramsele and Ramneå. Three forces from the rescue service were called there and two hours later they were still there.
- It went away quite a long way, but we have it under control now, says Tomas Näsman, internal commander at the rescue service.
They are still in place and are working on extinguishing.
- It's burning on the slopes and there are some smaller fires, says Näsman.
He estimates that it is 250 meters X 200 meters that have burned and that they will remain on site until midnight.
