The coronavirus pandemic has killed 110 more in the past twenty-four hours in France, bringing the toll since March 1 to 28,132 deaths, announced Wednesday, May 20, the Directorate General of Health.

Of this total, 17,812 deaths occurred in hospitals and 10,320 in nursing homes and other medico-social establishments.

Continued decline in resuscitation cases

A total of 17,941 people are currently hospitalized due to Covid-19, which is 527 less than Tuesday. The number of patients in intensive care is also decreasing: the ministry counts, Wednesday, 1,794 serious cases in intensive care, is 100 less than the day before.

The total number of cases is increasing. It went from 143,427 Tuesday to 143,845 Wednesday.
