Alcorcón has experienced a new day of tension after the mayor, Natalia de Andrés, of the PSOE, closed this afternoon the plaza de la cacerolada against Sánchez, called Plaza de los Príncipes, "to avoid contagions" and to prevent verbal confrontations by yesterday between protesters against the Government and extreme left groups.

Neighbors who protest against the Government have not been able to walk around the square as on other days, but still they have continued walking and showing their rejection to the executive by walking around where radical left-wing groups have concentrated again.

Like yesterday, a strong police device has prevented the clashes between the two groups. Radicals have once again insulted and rebuked those who carried Spanish flags at the cry of fascists. The agents have formed a barrier between the two sides and there has even been an attack of aggression against a woman carrying a flag.

"We have closed it to avoid infections by Covid-19 in the face of the crowds of recent days and thus protect the neighbors," confirmed the mayor, Natalia de Andrés, through her social networks.
