- We think this is an interesting way to strengthen the rental apartments. It will be interesting to evaluate what value our tenants experience after the test period and an important lesson when we plan on how to create good conditions for living a little more sustainable life at home, says Jon Rytterbro, quality and sustainability manager at Gotlandshem.

Both in Visby and Slite

E-Go provides the cars and the app needed to use the service. Gotlandshem stands for charging posts and parking spaces. In Visby, the areas A7, Castor and Taptot are current and outside the town of Slite.

- It costs SEK 179 per hour to rent a car. Otherwise, the customer usually has to rent per day or week. It is also possible to rent a "one way" - that is, to take the car in one place and leave in another. Everything is managed via our app, says Johan Granath from E-Go.

Also in Norrköping

According to other companies in the "green" car rental industry, there are similar projects in several locations in Sweden. Rental housing in Norrköping has a rental car service with elilar at the Yllefabriken.

- And in several of our new construction projects, there will be electric cars for rent, says Lars Löfgren, Marketing Manager for Housing.

Gotland is also at the forefront when it comes to the creation of electric roads. See more about it below.
