Värnamo works properly with hygiene routines

One of over a hundred hygienic ombudsmen in Värnamo is Marina Amnebrink at Luddö care homes. Her job is to raise hygiene issues among her colleagues in the workplace and make measurements twice a year on how hygiene practices and clothing rules are adhered to by the staff.

- I think it is a very fun and important assignment because it is about reducing the risk of spreading infection, says Marina Amnebrink, hygiene ombudsman.

One reason why Värnamo Municipality works well with hygiene issues is that the entire administration is moving in the same direction.

- Without the managers' support for our hygiene ombudsman, it would not have worked, says Marina Amnebrink.

You had a compliance with 70% of hygiene routines and clothing rules last fall, how do you see that result?

- Of course, we always want to be better even if one hundred percent is impossible to reach, says Marina Amnebrink.
