A 34-year-old man was shot dead overnight Friday to Saturday near a house on the heights of Trouville-sur-Mer (Calvados). Touched on the back, the victim could not be resuscitated by the firefighters, reports Ouest-France .

Five people present at the time of the events were taken into police custody in the morning. Among them, three women were referred and presented to the investigating judge the following day.

Three women indicted

Aged 24, 28 and 53, they knew the victim, says France Bleu Normandie. They were charged with murder and complicity in murder. According to the prosecutor of the republic of Caen Amélie Cladière, quoted by the local radio, "the facts took place within the framework of an altercation".

An autopsy of the victim's body should be performed in the coming days to determine the exact causes of death. The investigation was entrusted to the SRPJ (Regional Judicial Police Service) of Caen.
