May 16, 2020The German Serie A football championship, the Bundesliga, restarted behind closed doors after the long stop due to the coronavirus emergency. One of the first 5 European leagues (suspended on March 13th) has paved the way for a new start for football in the Old Continent.

The presence of the police in the stadiums is massive to ensure that the matches are held in complete tranquility. According to strict health protocols, fans are banned from stadiums. The players have been tested for Covid-19. During the matches, the coaches were able to temporarily remove the mask only to give directions to the players. Each team was quarantined, moving from a hotel to their training camp for the week leading up to the return of this weekend.
