Three Arab countries decided their decision regarding the procedures to confront the Corona pandemic during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, and it is expected that it will come at the end of this week.

Yesterday, the Presidential Council of the National Accord Government in Libya decided to impose a total curfew during Eid al-Fitr days, as part of measures to combat the Corona virus.

Egypt has announced so far the discovery of 12,229 confirmed cases of Corona virus, including 630 deaths, and the number of infection with the virus has risen since the government eased somewhat the curfew and other precautions.

Rituals of Prayer
The Minister of Awqaf Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa said at the same press conference that the rituals of Eid al-Fitr rituals will be broadcast from one of the country's mosques "with a very limited number, which permits them to perform the prayer" and will not be opened to the public.

The Egyptian official added that only mosques will be allowed to operate loudspeakers via the Noble Qur’an radio station, to transfer the takbeers from that mosque only without allowing gathering.

The Ministry of Endowments stated that the Eid prayer will be broadcast from the Sayyidah Psychological Mosque in Cairo, with about twenty worshipers working in the Ministry of Endowments, taking into account the rules of social separation.

In a related context, the Association of Senior Scholars in Egypt headed by Sheikh Al-Azhar Ahmed Al-Tayeb on Sunday approved the permissibility of Eid Al-Fitr prayer in homes without a sermon, because it could not be held in mosques or in the open.

In a statement issued to all Muslims in the East and West, the commission said, "The greatest purposes of Islamic law are to protect, protect and protect souls from all dangers (...) in light of the continued spread of the virus."

Gag
in Palestine and in Palestine, wearing the gag became a condition for entering the mosque to perform Friday prayers and Eid al-Fitr, unlike other measures that included divergence and leaving the handshake.

The Palestinian authorities recorded 560 injuries, including 387 in the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem suburbs, and the Gaza Strip, along with 173 unconfirmed injuries in Jerusalem, due to the Israeli prevention of the Ministry of Health from working inside the city.

The Ministry of Awqaf in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that it will open mosques in the Strip to perform Friday prayers starting next Friday, as well as establish Eid al-Fitr prayers according to a set of preventive measures.

The ministry added in a statement that these procedures are represented in "the necessity of diverging between the worshipers, putting a muzzle, leaving the handshake, and taking the prayer rug, and diverging when entering and leaving", pointing out that ablution places in mosques will be closed.

"The commitment to these precautionary measures pushes us towards studying the opening of mosques to establish groups later on," the ministry said in its statement.

Indonesia and Morocco
Many Arab and Islamic countries have not yet announced the special procedures for Eid al-Fitr, although some have announced that precautionary measures such as Indonesia whose President Goku Widodo said today will not be eased will limit the restrictions imposed to contain the Corona virus.

In Morocco, the second extension of the state of the health emergency in the Kingdom will end tomorrow, Tuesday, as citizens await the authorities ’decisions regarding the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and the possibility of easing quarantine measures.
