May 17, 2020 "Today our prayer is for many people who clean the streets, who empty the garbage cans, who go to the houses to empty the garbage. A job that nobody sees, a job necessary to survive": he recalled Pope Francis in the introduction of the mass in Santa Marta.

In the homily, the pontiff instead highlighted "the great feeling of 'orphanness' that so many have", "we live in a society where the Father is missing". The first consequence of this sense of "orphanage" is "war because the Father who makes peace is missing". "Let us pray to the Holy Spirit to remind us that we have a Father" so that "men may be a family".
