04 February 2019A 24-year-old Belgian snowboarder, BL, was overwhelmed and killed by an avalanche in Livigno (Sondrio). The body buried for about a couple of meters was recovered by the men of the Alpine Rescue of the VII Delegation of Valtellina and Valchiavenna of the Livigno Station who intervened with the Sagf of the Guardia di Finanza, after the alarm issued by the friend who was with him. The tragedy occurred when they left the track to move to another area by crossing a canal. The misfortune happened in the late afternoon of yesterday, but the news only occurred today.
