“On May 17, 2020, there were 13 forest fires on the territory of the Russian Federation on an area of ​​2,793 hectares, including one fire on the lands of the forest fund on an area of ​​2.5 hectares in the Trans-Baikal Territory,” the agency’s press service quotes TASS.

It is noted that the remaining fires are operating in the Republics of Altai, Tuva, Khakassia, Khabarovsk Territory, the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Irkutsk, Orenburg, Amur Regions.

Previously, in connection with the special fire regime in the Tver region, restrictions on visiting forests and entering vehicles in forests were extended.
