All clubs will be able to follow the instructions of phase 3 of the progressive "de-escalation plan" wanted by the Spanish government, which authorizes groups of 10 players maximum, according to an internal source at LaLiga.

All clubs will be able to resume training in small groups, including those located in regions where the deconfinement phases are lower, such as Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid or FC Barcelona, ​​said this source.

Espanyol Barcelona, ​​Leganes, Getafe and Valladolid, located in the regions hardest hit by the coronavirus, will also be allowed to switch to training in small groups.

After the suspension of the Spanish championship on March 12 due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the Liga clubs resumed individual training from May 8, with a maximum of six players on the field simultaneously, and a respect draconian barrier gestures. The players must arrive separately, already in uniform, gloved and masked and have the temperature taken.

This opening of training sessions to larger groups brings LaLiga closer to a return to competition: Javier Tebas, the boss of LaLiga, has never considered the definitive end of the 2019-2020 season and has always campaigned for bring the season to a close.

During an interview with the Movistar + TV channel on May 10, Tebas indicated that he "would like (the resumption of the season) to be June 12", stating that the competitions will resume "when he says so (the Ministry of) Health ".
