For several weeks, the intensive care nurse Sofia Lindström has shown in SVT Nyheter's video diary how the work in the intensive care unit at the Academic Hospital in Uppsala goes to.

Much has changed during the corona pandemic. Care needs have meant that staff from other departments have had to jump into intensive care units and corona departments. Something that is not just a relief.

"In addition to double the workload, we train people all the time," says Tannin, assistant nurse at the Academic Hospital.

One of those who got to jump into a new department is the nurse Rosanna Svensson. Normally, she works with premature babies in a neonatal care department at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. But in recent weeks she has had to jump into a corona department and an intensive care unit.

"It came as a shock to come back to the adult, to learn new equipment and not to know any colleagues," she says after her first pass.

- You become very humble about what our colleagues who come from other businesses come and experience, says Sofia Lindström.
