The Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority stressed that the early learning centers, schools, universities and training institutes are not currently allowed to exchange any kind of paper materials with their students, with the exception of textbooks for the current semester, taking into account the preventive instructions that have been circulated in this regard, pointing out that it is scheduled to start Next academic year in September, and the form of education to be adopted for this year is not yet known.

In its response to students ’parents’ questions, the authority added, through its website, that to ensure that distance learning goes uninterrupted, training institutes should use alternative strategies and take advantage of learning methods available online, in addition to making use of electronic communication tools available to teachers and students.

The commission noted the need to adhere to what was stated in the circular issued in this regard, which called for a complete cessation of the exchange of all forms of paper materials between educational institutions, students and trainees until further notice.

On the date for the start of the next academic year, the authority stated that schools are scheduled to open for the new academic year in September, but it is not currently known what form of education will be approved for the next academic year, and whether there are changes.

She clarified that work is underway closely with the relevant federal authorities to coordinate efforts on the decision that will be taken to include all state schools, in the context of the desire for schools to open their doors to receive students again once they make sure that this will ensure safety for all.

30% of the maximum number of cadres

Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority stressed that schools, universities and early education centers should not be allowed to have a maximum of 30% of their cadres within their headquarters, to work for a period not exceeding eight hours per day, in order to ensure the continuity of their services for distance education, noting that this does not need For any permit. The authority stressed the importance of continuing to adhere to generalizations and preventive measures related to physical distance, sterilization of the workplace, medical examinations and other relevant preventive directives.
