The Israeli occupation forces tightened their siege on the town of Yabid, located southwest of the city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, after continuing for the fourth day today, and arrested a Palestinian youth.

According to eyewitnesses, the occupation forces closed one of the main entrances to the town, and sub-roads in it, to limit the movement of citizens.

They also stormed the house of the liberated prisoner, Adnan Hamarsheh, and assaulted him and abused his family, wounding some of them, which necessitated their transfer to the hospital.

Layla Hamarsheh said on her Facebook account that dozens of soldiers stormed her family's home in the town of Ya`d in the northern West Bank after the door was blown and brutally beat her father with the butts of guns as well as her uncle and two of her brothers, the freed captives Omar and Anas, confirming that everyone was taken to the hospital, adding that the attack affected her grandmother and her mother Also.

The occupation forces carried out during the past few days a campaign of arrests that included about fifty Palestinians in the village.

These measures come after the killing of an Israeli soldier in the town, after a stone fell on his head from the roof of a building during a storming operation carried out by the occupation forces to arrest Palestinians.
