• Direct witness: Police do not frustrate Núñez de Balboa's 'pan revolt' against Sánchez but prevent crowds
  • Direct: last minute coronavirus

The neighborhood protest in the Núñez de Balboa area (Madrid) has continued this Friday although the images of crowding of other days have been avoided due to the strong police presence and the rain that has fallen in the city around 9:00 p.m.

On this occasion, at least ten milk machines from the National Police have been deployed in the area during the afternoon and have prevented the residents from invading the road, with calls by public address system so that the congregants do not remain standing and maintain the recommended distance between them. .

As usual, citizens go out in the same area of Núñez de Balboa, between Ramón de la Cruz and Ayala streets, to demonstrate against the management of the Pedro Sánchez government against the coronavirus.

Unlike other nights, the protesters have been in permanent movement on the sidewalks, following the recommendations of the police officers who were present, and concentrations of people have been avoided, as it happened the other days. This has caused the dispersal of the protesters through the neighboring streets. From the balconies and windows, in addition, casseroles have sounded as a critical response to the policy of the central executive.

This collective protest, as defined by the neighbors, has been replicated in other areas of Madrid such as the Chamartín, Mirasierra, Montecarmelo, Sachinarro, Las Tablas or Aravaca neighborhoods, none of which has authorization from the Government Delegation.

The protest arose after a group of young people gathered in front of a house with music blasting on Sunday, an incident that led to 12 people being identified and punished for failing to comply with the royal decree of state of alarm.

As a result of this, throughout the week dozens of people have gathered in this area located in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood to protest against the government of Pedro Sánchez despite the statement of the state of alarm prohibiting the agglomeration of people.

At the cry of 'Sánchez, resignation' and 'freedom', the people who supported the protest have remained in the place until after half past nine at night, when the concentration has begun to decline.

Given the crowds of people who have been observed in this call in recent days, the Government Delegation in Madrid has already warned that it would deploy a police device to enforce the law.

After an alert from some neighbors annoyed with the protests, the Police appeared this Thursday on Núñez de Balboa street at 9:00 p.m., where some "100 people" protested against the Government with the cry for freedom, and identified 13 people for the proposal. of sanction, as explained by the Government delegate, José Manuel Franco, in statements to the Cadena Ser collected by Europa Press.

The scenes of crowding that have been seen in these protests have generated criticism from those who consider it irresponsible that the recommendation of social distancing is not complied with, while others have defended the right to protest before the government.

600 people in Salamanca

In addition, about 300 people, according to the National Police, have protested this Friday in the center of Salamanca against government policy, with the slogan of "the mask revolution," in a call made through the social networks.

According to sources from the Government Subdelegation, the protesters had been left in the Plaza de España, where they shouted against the Government, accompanied by a pan, for their policy in this pandemic.

The same sources have explained that members of the National Police have been accompanying the demonstration, which has advanced through the center of Salamanca to the Plaza Mayor, where the number of attendees had increased to nearly 600 people, the same sources added. Police.

The call already warned that attendees had to "always wear a mask", with the option of "pan", in addition to "avoiding crowds and keeping the safety distance , 1.5 meters."

Upon reaching the Plaza Mayor, the protesters have spread to keep the distance between them, most dressed in Spanish flags, where a minute of silence has been observed by those killed by the coronavirus.

From today, "and until the confinement lasts," they will continue to focus on both the Plaza de España and the Plaza Mayor, according to various attendees.

At least 5 reported in Barcelona

The Mossos d'Esquadra have denounced at least five people this Friday afternoon when they were on their way to a concentration called against the Government of Pedro Sánchez in the Artós square in Barcelona, which finally could not be held.

The allegations have come after the agents have identified several young people who were going to the square in a massive way: they have been warned that the concentrations are prohibited during the state of alarm by the coronavirus, but they have refused to leave the place.

After the complaints, the young people have finally given up and left the area, and the call has not been concluded by celebrating before the broad police system.

Before 8:00 p.m. the Catalan police had deployed a device to shield the plaza with about five vans, and there were also several agents of the Barcelona City Guard.

The call has been spread through social networks and WhatsApp channels, in a message calling to confront the "social-communist virus".

They have also proclaimed that in 2017 they faced the "separatist virus", and in the call they asked that attendees wear a mask and a Spanish flag.
