Police Chief of Murder: "We Want Any Movies and Testimonies"

Police and prosecutors are very upset with information about the murder of Råslätt on Thursday afternoon. According to witnesses SVT has spoken to, the man at the age of 40 must have been shot, but it is a task that police and prosecutors do not want to confirm.

The only police confirm is that there are three people arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.

"It is because of the preliminary investigation confidentiality, we do not want witnesses to be affected," says Fredrik Lindfors.

He also does not want to comment on the victim's criminal background.

The police conducted a series of testimonies, conducted a technical investigation and conducted door knocking in the area.

- We have a number of witnesses who will be heard and then we work with security-creating measures together with the parties we work with.

How worried should the Råslättborna be?

- We see this as an isolated event, our view is that Råslätt is a safe place. But at the same time, I understand that it can be perceived as unsafe after such an event. But we do everything we can to maintain security.

Have you done enough about this in the past when something like this happens?

- Yes, I think so.

A number of measures are now being taken by the municipality on Råslätt. Among other things, the leisure yard will remain open during the Friday until 10 pm with extra staff in place. This also happens on Saturday. Field assistants from the municipality will also have extra staffing this coming weekend.
