US Secretary of State Deputy Secretary of State Pryer, who attended the meeting, said that he appreciated Taiwan's efforts and supported Taiwan's participation in next week's WHO = World Health Organization Annual Meeting.

At the moment, Taiwan says that it has not received an invitation from WHO, and is aiming to participate as an observer in cooperation with the United States and Japan.
