Bayern Munich will be deprived of injured Niklas Süle, Corentin Tolisso and Philippe Coutinho on Sunday for their resumption of the Bundesliga in Berlin against the Union, coach Hansi Flick announced on Friday.

Süle, the pillar of the central defense, has been treating a broken ligament in the knee since October and hopes to play again by the end of the season. French world champion Corentin Tolisso and Brazilian defector Barça Coutinho both recover from an ankle surgery in late April.

In addition, midfielder Javi Martinez trained without the ball and Flick admits he does not know if he will be able to play.

Other team stars, including goalscorer Robert Lewandowski and wingers Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry, are available.

Bayern, leading the championship with four points ahead of Dortmund, have not played since March 8 and the coach himself admits that he has difficulty assessing the form of his players.

"We don't know if the team will last 90 minutes completely," he said. "We trained well, on Sunday we played an internal test game of three times 20 minutes. There was a high intensity, but clearly, we don't really know where we are."
