China News Service, May 14 (Xinhua)-According to Reuters, Tunisia announced on 13th that it has shortened the curfew in the absence of new cases of new coronary pneumonia for three days.

Starting from March 18 this year, Tunisia has imposed a curfew to keep people at home to slow down the spread of the virus. On May 13, the Tunisian government stated that there have been no new cases for three consecutive days. The total number of confirmed cases in the country is 1032 and 45 deaths.

Tunisian President Said announced on the same day that the curfew time will be changed from 8 pm to 6 am to 11 am to 5 am.

However, Jalila Ben Kelil, a member of the Tunisian government's New Crown Virus Crisis Advisory Committee, said that although restrictions have been relaxed, the blockade may still be restored if necessary. She also revealed that only five patients are still being treated in the hospital in Tunisia.

Previously, the Tunisian government implemented many restrictions, including closing schools, mosques, cafes and restaurants. To deal with the crisis, Tunisia added 100 intensive care beds, built a temporary facility at a sports center in Tunisia, and improved the response of public hospitals across the country.

Since May 4, Tunisia has gradually relaxed nationwide isolation measures.
