▲ Press release distributed by the US state of Georgia police

An unfortunate incident occurred when a five-year-old American misunderstood an abandoned gun with a toy and shot it at a 12-year-old brother.

According to US police, the incident took place in a town in Georgia on the 9th.

The tragedy of injustice came to an ordinary family one day ahead of America's Mother's Day.

The 5-year-old brother picked up an abandoned gun in the forest behind the house on the day of the incident.

However, the brother mistook the gun for a toy, and made a 'tangtang' sound, pointing it at the 12-year-old's chest.

At that moment, a loaded bullet was fired, and the brother collapsed.

The elder brother, who was wounded by an injustice, was taken to a nearby hospital, but died.

Police are chasing a gang of suspected suspects who have thrown their guns into the woods.

This is because three men were running away from the police's vehicle checkpoint near the scene of the firearms prior to the incident.

Their escape was close to the brother's home where the accident occurred.

The police went to the field search when the gangs fled, and found a bag of suspected drugs, but were unable to find a gun at the time.

The police sent the gun to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an analysis to find clues to secure the identity of the gun owner.

In a statement, the police said, "We will use all means to find out who left the gun and take responsibility."
