China News Service, May 13, according to foreign media reports, on the 12th local time, Venezuelan President Maduro said that Venezuela's blockade measures will be extended for another 30 days to curb the spread of the new crown virus.

At noon, Venezuela Caracas was almost empty on the Bolivar Avenue.

  Maduro said, "In order to continue to protect our people, Venezuela's alert status will be extended for another 30 days." He said that Venezuela added a new case of new coronavirus infection on the 12th, bringing the cumulative number of infections in the country to 423, including 10 deaths.

  According to reports, Venezuela implemented blockade measures nationwide on March 13, and extended the blockade period in mid-April.

  Earlier on May 12 local time, Venezuela announced that all flights to and from the country will continue to be suspended until June 12.
