In an email to the newspaper VG, Minister of Justice Monica Mæland writes that "family members of EEA citizens and EEA citizens who are family members of Norwegian citizens can now travel to Norway".

The new reliefs will take effect immediately, but those who cross the border are expected to follow the country's quarantine rules. Everyone who travels to Norway must quarantine the home for 10 days.

Norway closed the borders to foreign nationals on March 16. Even when the entry ban was introduced, there were special reliefs for EEA citizens. Among other things, EEA citizens who live in Norway or work there have been allowed to enter the country.
