“The state of emergency throughout New Zealand has been canceled and a nationwide transition period has been declared as the country prepares to move to the second level of security threat in connection with COVID-19,” said Civil Defense Minister Peeni Henare in a statement.

It is specified that the transition period will last in the country over the next 90 days.
