Committee of the Council of the Federation supported the law on remote voting

“The Committee recommends that the Federation Council consider and approve the law,” the Senator quotes RIA Novosti.

On May 13, the State Duma adopted the amended bill, in particular, on the possibility of voting in elections and referenda by mail and remotely. 

The website of the lower house of parliament says that when voting is held, the order of which is established by the CEC, it may be possible to vote by mail and by remote electronic voting.
