In Russia, doctors of various specialties undergo intensive preparation for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection. This was told by the head of the Federal Biomedical Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova.

She specified that the necessary personnel reserve has been formed in the country to combat the pandemic.

“We have a huge reserve of doctors of various specialties who receive a short concentrated course of training, including how to protect ourselves from infection, and professional issues in infectious diseases,” Skvortsova said on the Russia 24 television channel.

She clarified that the FMBA is moving doctors from region to region, based on the need for local specialists.

In addition, she noted that doctors working with patients with positive tests for coronavirus, due to the severe psychological state, often stop paying attention to the proper wearing of personal protective equipment, which provokes infectious foci in hospitals.

Skvortsova explained that the FMBA, together with the chief freelance psychologist of the Ministry of Health Yuri Zinchenko and the head of the department of psychological service of the Armed Forces Valentina Barabanshchikova, developed guidelines for the psychological support of doctors.

“We have three areas of control and regulation, but first of all, it is self-control, self-organization and the ability to balance ourselves. For this, special exercises are recommended. In addition, the second - it is always necessary to remain open in communication with colleagues, ”Skvortsova emphasized.

In all Russian regions, restrictive measures are still in place to stop the spread of coronavirus. So, the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev said that the phased lifting of restrictions in the region will begin on May 15 - the work of food fairs and the IFC will resume in the region. Next week, non-food stores, car dealerships, and household services, including beauty salons, hairdressers, and dry cleaners, will start operating. Residents of the region will be able to start playing sports outdoors, but in groups of no more than two people and with respect to social distance.

Moscow is also ready to mitigate the restrictive measures introduced due to the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19, said Moscow City Duma Chairman Alexei Shaposhnikov.

“The situation is changing dynamically every day ... Today, Moscow meets all the criteria,” Shaposhnikov said on the Zvezda television channel.

He recalled the three stages of gradual withdrawal from the regime of self-isolation, emphasizing that people over 65 and with chronic diseases should stay at home until the restrictions are completely lifted.

“Until May 31, we remain in access mode. This is a necessity that is currently paying off. Therefore, until May 31, the regime will definitely work, and at the end of May we will all together watch what indicators will be every morning, ”the head of the Moscow City Duma added.

Meanwhile, Army General Valery Gerasimov, chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper that the General Staff had provided for the possibility of maneuver with draft resources in the event of a worsening epidemiological situation. He emphasized that monitoring the recruitment of citizens for military service at all levels is synchronized with the work of the system to counter the spread of COVID-19. In addition, he added that the parents of the spring draft recruits will not be able to attend the oath ceremony because of the coronavirus, and there is no plan to send troops to the troops.
