Ottenby on Öland's southern cape is one of Sweden's most famous bird rooms, which usually attracts many visitors every year. But this year, parts of the business are closed and the number of visits is also declining rapidly.
This caused the bird station to appeal for financial help - but some bird watchers have nevertheless found their way down to Öland's southern headland.
- Nature is open and only healthy in corona times, then maybe it becomes "knuckles" instead of hugs, and you keep a distance, says birdwatchers Lennart Andersson.
