Big craving for holiday homes - unusually few items on the market

Broker Björn Nykvist describes it as a marked difference in supply last year compared to now.

- Perhaps it is that you keep your holiday home for another year instead of going abroad, speculates Nykvist, who is supported by Karlstadsmakelker Mattias Wassberg regarding the summer cottages.

Otherwise, the housing market in Värmland has not been particularly affected by the corona crisis yet. In Värmland, tenant-owner prices have fallen by 5.8 percent over the past three months, while house prices have shown an increase of 5.5 percent, according to Swedish Real Estate Statistics.

- It looks better than most people think, says Mattias Wassberg.
