Two friends dressed up as a buoy to swim despite the confinement - Facebook screenshot

The story is hardly believable, but it has been confirmed at 20 minutes by the authorities. This Friday, police arrested two friends aged about fifty who were bathing on the Almanarre beach in Hyères in the Var, with a buoy on their heads. This outfit allowed them, in theory, to escape the vigilance of the police, while access to the beaches, which is more swimming, remains prohibited.

In a video posted on social networks that immortalizes the moment, we can see the two human buoys swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, then getting out of the water, quite proud, before being spotted by the police. The two offenders were fined 135 euros for failing to comply with the confinement in force. According to Var-Matin, the perpetrators are known in Hyères for being regulars on this beach. One of them, interviewed by our colleagues from the regional daily, said he was delighted to "make people laugh." And to launch: “It is well worth 135 euros! "
