Today's "Employment Assistance Act" that passed the National Assembly's Environment and Labor Committee is the legal basis to give job seekers to low-income people.

If you are between the ages of 18 and 64 and less than 60% of your median income, that is, your family's average monthly income is less than 2.85 million won, and your family's property is less than 600 million won, you may be eligible for payment.

You can receive 500,000 won per month for up to 6 months per job search promotion.

However, you must have a history of employment within 2 years before applying for benefits.

The amendment to the Employment Insurance Act, which also crossed the threshold of foreign exchange, put artists in the category of employment insurance.

Artists who have made a contract for cultural and art services and created creative works can receive unemployment benefits if they have been insured for more than 9 months in the past 2 years.

For example, an artist who has worked for four months with publisher A over a two-year period and six months with publisher B for two years is paid when there is no work.

In principle, half of the premium is paid by the employer and half is paid by the employer.

In this amendment, the platform workers such as special employment jobs and delivery agency apps, such as study instructors and truck drivers, were left out of the target due to disagreements.

[Im-I-Ja Lee / Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Workers' Employment and Labor Relations Commission: It is important to listen to the opinions of those in the position of employers. Physically, the time was too tight to discuss in the 21st (Parliament) (I did.)] The

National Assembly moved quickly one day after President Moon Jae-in imposed a job security legislation yesterday, but expanded the scope of employment insurance. There must be a disagreement.
