According to Delfi, the minister said that the current reserves of respirators may soon run out, a similar situation has developed with some other personal protective equipment for doctors - disposable gowns and protective overalls.

Vinkele emphasized that stockpiles of personal protective equipment are critically small. According to her, the situation is currently being resolved.

According to the publication, respirators for medical facilities are provided with a reserve of 1.5 days. The stock of surgical masks for doctors is enough for about two weeks.

Earlier it was reported that the Baltic countries will open internal borders on May 15 for the movement of residents between Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
