Can Donald Trump's corporate tax returns and accounts be brought to justice and Congress? This is the thorny question that the wise men of the Supreme Court must address on Tuesday. From our correspondent in Washington,

Two one-hour sessions are scheduled: the first will consider requests from several House committees, which ask two banks and an accounting firm to provide them with financial documents relating to Donald Trump's affairs between 2011 and 2018.

House Democrats are investigating the questionable funding that Donald Trump's companies were able to obtain before he entered the White House. They especially want to know if foreign actors have been able, through their investments, to exert a means of pressure on the president.

The second request comes from the New York prosecutor who investigates the $ 130,000 paid to a porn actress to buy her silence on an affair she claims to have had with the president. Donald Trump has always refused to provide these documents. He believes that a president is not accountable. Justice proved him wrong and he therefore turned to the Supreme Court. The nine wise men, who will be talking over the phone because of the pandemic, are expected to make their decision in June.
