- Since Kalmar Municipality took over the arena, we want to use it in a slightly different way. We want to use it for considerably more hours and the existing natural grass that is today does not support this increase, says David Eriksson, construction project manager at Kalmar Municipality. 

- I think it's good. There will be very durable grass that will give us much better lawn. We can train a little more in here and we can also play matches longer this season, says Lucas Nilsson, acting club manager at Kalmar FF. 

The cost of the new hybrid lawn is estimated to amount to SEK 3 million and will be completed by the end of June.
