The rear or international winger Benjamin Fall, announced on departure for several weeks and free in June, will leave Montpellier, confirmed Sunday the club Hérault.

Fall, 31, has been playing at MHR since 2014 and his arrival from Racing 92 (2010-2014).

In six seasons in Hérault, Fall has played a hundred games, but has played very little (2 games) in the last season due to various injuries.

He nevertheless played a championship final in 2018 against Castres (29-13) and won the European Challenge in 2016.

"I came to Montpellier to win titles and find the French team, things have been achieved and others not. I had promised myself to become champion of France with this club but this failure will stay with me throat, "he testified on the club's website.

The French international (14 caps) has not played in the France team since the defeat against Fiji (14-21), during the tests of autumn 2018.

Benjamin Fall, who revealed himself in Bayonne after having started in Langon (Fédérale 1), was in contact with one or two clubs before the health crisis, provoked by the Covid-19, interrupted the championship. "I don't yet know where I will be playing next year, but I can't wait to find the ground," he concludes.
