As RIA Novosti points out, the state of emergency has expired at 00:00 on May 11 (21:00 Moscow time on May 10).

According to the agency, in late April, Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev announced a decision to extend the state of emergency in the country until May 11. Then he announced the mitigation of quarantine in the regions where the situation with the coronavirus could be taken under control.

Along with this, it is specified that, for example, the akimat of Nur-Sultan stated that "on May 11, the capital will live in its former quarantine regime, because the quarantine has not yet been lifted." This means that roadblocks in the city will not be removed, public transport will not work, and only those enterprises that have been given relief will be launched.

On March 15, Tokaev signed a decree imposing a state of emergency in the republic.
