It appears that Netflix's online display platform is very interested in ensuring the ethnic diversity of its original creators, by selecting appropriate actors for written roles, the time for American actors to appear in the roles of Arab or Latin characters for example is over.

In line with this, Netflix announced in the past few days the emergence of a large number of stars in the Arab Maghreb in its works, including works in Arabic, and others in English or French, most notably Hind Sabri and Damir El Abidin from Tunisia, and Leila Marrakchi from Morocco, Taher Rahim and Leila Bakhti who have Algerian origins.

Hend Sabry
Tunisian actress Hend Sabry announced through her official account on Twitter that she joined the Netflix family through a comic-drama about Arab women, and Hend will star in it in addition to being the producer who also executed him.

Hind Sabri gained wide fame in Egypt, Tunisia and the Maghreb, and began her career in Egypt with Egyptian director Enas El Degheidy through the movie "Teenage Diaries".

However, the Tunisian actress subsequently made great strides towards the championship through various roles between the dramatic, such as her role in the films "Ibrahim Al Abyad" and "Al Jazeera", as well as comedy roles such as her starring in the series "Ayza Atjouz", which imposed her name as one of the first-row heroes in Egyptian drama.

Zafir Al-Abidin
Unlike the work announced by Hind Sabri, the Tunisian actor Zafir Al-Abidin is a co-star in the French-American series of original Netflix works, titled "The Eddy", a series that revolves around characters who meet in a jazz club Inside the French capital Paris.

Zafir Al-Abidin's participation in this series is of special importance. One of the directors of the series is the American Damien Chazel, who was previously crowned an Oscar in the category of Best Director for the movie "Lala Land", and the music of the work is composed by Glen Ballard, who won the six-time award Amorous. 

Zafir El Abidine reminds us of his participation in world cinema, where he participated in his inception in the movie "Children of Men" by the Mexican director Oscar Alfonso Cuaron, and also recently participated in the movie "Hologram for the King", from American superstar Tom Hanks starring.

The stars of Morocco and Algeria
It is worth noting that the series "The Eddy" also includes among its makers a brilliant Moroccan name in the recent period, is the Moroccan director Laila Marrakchi, who co-directs two episodes of the series.

Marrakesh holds a number of short films in her sleeve, one of which won the Best Short Film Award from the 2000 Toronto International Film Festival, and she also directed the feature film "Rock the Casbah", which is the last movie of the Egyptian international star Omar Sharif. In his heroine Nadine Labaki and Hayam Abbas. 

In addition to that, the series’s cast includes two bright names in the sky of French drama today, namely Taher Rahim and Laila Bakhti, the French actors of Algerian origin, who have been married since 2010.

Taher Rahim became famous by receiving the "Cesar" award for Best Actor in France for his starring "A Prophet" in 2009, before he subsequently starred in the Iranian movie "The Past" twice, Oscar Farhadi .

And Leila Bakhti, who also starred in the movie "Messenger", won the "Cesar" award for Best Rising Actress in France in 2010.
