It was at the end of June almost four years ago that the old mill from the beginning of the 18th century caught fire. Passersby discovered the fire and alerted the emergency services, but it was too late. The grinder had to burn down to the ground before the rescue service arrived at the site.

Gnosjö municipality, which was the owner of the building, made the decision to rebuild the mill and now it is now ready and running.

The mill at the Töllstorps area in Gnosjö is now completely rebuilt and in use.

Great commitment from the local community association

Insurance money from the fire has covered large parts of the cost of the construction, but the municipality itself has also had to go in with a sum. The hometown association has contributed with both manpower and commitment.
