He tried everything. But really everything! A young 23-year-old motorist took totally inconsiderate risks on Friday evening to try to escape from the gendarmes near Fronsac in the Libournais in Gironde. A crazy chase that ended on foot in the mud of the Dordogne.

A few minutes earlier, the young man known to the police refused a roadside check before finding himself trapped in a dead end. He then decides to back off and rushes towards the gendarmes who reply several times with their weapons without causing any injuries, reports Sud Ouest. The chase resumes but not for long because the driver loses control of his vehicle with a punctured tire.

He continues on foot before going

But whatever, nothing stops the runaway. He continues on foot, leaving his partner in the car. He jumps in the Dordogne before finding himself trapped in the mud of it. After discussions with the police and his partner, he finally surrendered.

Already known for a case of violence against a person holding public authority in April 2019, he has been placed in police custody and should be brought this Sunday for an immediate appearance before the Correctional Court of Libourne for "violence" and "refusal to comply" aggravated by several circumstances.
