Al-Ghaithi told «Emirates Today»: “Exit permits will only be granted to the owners of emergency medical cases, because there is sufficient time space granted to everyone to spend their needs, and there is no justification for leaving after that, if there is no necessary need.”
In detail, Major General Abdullah Al-Ghaithi stated that there is a tangible commitment on the part of most members of society to the restriction movement instructions, especially after the issuance of the partial mitigation decision, so that the restriction will be for only eight hours, after it was throughout the day.
He added, "The government took into account the need of the people to fulfill the needs related to the holy month of Ramadan, so it issued a partial mitigation decision, and allowed the reopening of commercial centers and markets in a relative way (at a rate of 30% of its capacity)." Al-Ghaithi stressed, “No tolerance for anyone who violates the restriction of movement instructions, if there is no justification for that, before each person has 14 full hours during which he can dispose.” He pointed to the release of criminal violations for those who violate the restriction of movement.
He added: "As for permits, they are granted only for emergency medical cases only."
He said that «Dubai Police is coordinating with the commercial centers in the emirate, to ensure that its pioneers adhere to the precautionary measures. He emphasized that the authorities and departments operating under the umbrella of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Emergency Management in Dubai have made a great effort in the sterilization program, to ensure that they contain The virus.
He appealed to members of society to act responsibly, even in places not monitored by the police, pointing to the need to adhere to social distancing, and to stay away from Ramadan gatherings and assemblies.
