Björn Hygstedt is a journalist and has long worked at Svenska Dagbladet. His text about his father's passing also became a testimony and gave voice to other relatives suffering the same.

- We felt safe when the nursing home where dad lived introduced a ban on visitors and thought well, then he cannot be infected. But that was exactly what he became, says Björn Hygstedt.

"No shadow over the staff"

The staff has told him that it was probably those who infected the father and that they are devastated.

- No shadow should fall over the staff. They are heroes in our eyes. They had no chance, there was no protective equipment in the beginning.

He feels great anger that it could be this way.

- I blame clueless politicians. It was the older ones we would protect.

Björn Hygstedt and the family have started a covid-19 fundraiser in memory of Thore via the Radio Aid for efforts to risk groups during the Corona pandemic.
